Talk to Samuel ↗What changes between Silva Box, Plus and Retreat?
All three use the same eight-panel infrared heating system. Plus adds a separately controlled red light and SweatLock mat. Retreat adds the cedar bench, weather-resistant cover, bamboo mat and two sauna hats.
How much space does it need?
The enclosure has a 1.4 × 1.4 metre footprint, stands 1.6 metres high and has a 2 metre floor diagonal. Allow additional room for assembly and access.
Can it stay outside?
Keep the mains-powered electrical components protected from water and weather at all times. Use a dry, level location and store the components cool and dry. Retreat’s cover does not make the electrical system waterproof.
What about New Zealand delivery?
Free shipping throughout New Zealand, including all 17 regions and Chatham Islands. Silva covers NZ import GST, any import duties and customs clearance fees. You will not receive an additional bill for these charges. Estimated delivery for in-stock products is 7–11 days. Preorder dispatch dates are separate; see the product page for availability.
